Analysis
The ‘Trinity Within’ formula is not a formula per se, but rather, it is a matter of information and the structure by which we are a ‘one-in-three’, composite of entities, co-existing on three different realms of understanding and movement. The spirit is the eternal, the original state and foundation of what we understand as both life and beyond life. It is the source of all thoughts that arise from the subconscious, separate from external schema and stimuli from the outside world. The spirit is often not accessed directly, and the means to access it, and better our sense of awareness in life is ignored. With prayer, meditation, and focus, we can often enter or rather open a path way in which the spirit brings forth points of clarity and power more frequent in our conscious minds versus when we are dependent on nuances, dreams, or what appears to be random interpretation that many of us ignore. We can in fact delve deeper in the Holy Spirit and expand our awareness.
As far as the Soul, it is the foundation of our mind. The mind in itself is created between the immortal spirit and interaction of the body in the real world. However, the mind in its conscious state allows us to contemplate, study, and measure what exists in the real world, yet pass between the world of the unknown by creating a world within, full of dreams, fantasies, hypothetical scenarios, and occasionally subconscious thoughts we attempt to interpret with logic. The mind is the aspect of the soul that is the focal point between the physical world and spiritual world. When we consider how we see ourselves, our residual self-image, often it is not the same as how others see us, but neither is greater or lesser than the other. Both perspectives of how we are perceived are necessary to establish balance for us as a living being.
The body is the means by which the living spirit can operate within the physical world. At points in life without thought, the body and soul will interact directly, and we exude and exemplify oneness. This oneness is considered a form of deep spiritual connection with God, the greater awareness, the enlightenment we know when God touches us for instance when considering Pentecost. The fire of God fell upon the faithful disciples, and they spoke known languages unknown to them as they spoke them, preaching the glory of God through Christ. It is then that we see the body being united by the Holy Spirit. However, the body is merely a means to exist on this plane of reality. It must be cared for and respected. It houses the living spirit and the soul. Yet, it must not become the focus of life alone as only a point of being pleasured, where the physical is placed before the spiritual, undermining the point of life everlasting.
